NETGEAR Accepts Credit Cards

To prevent any unnecessary delays processing your order, please ensure that the billing addresses on your order matches the information on your credit card account. If you have recently moved or are unsure where you receive your credit card statement, please contact your card-issuing bank using the number on the back of your credit card.

Security Codes

The card security code is a unique three or four digit number printed on the front (American Express) or back (Discover/MasterCard/Visa) of your card, in addition to the account number.

When NETGEAR Charges Your Account

When you place an order, NETGEAR will contact your credit card's issuing bank to confirm it is a valid account. NETGEAR requests an authorization, which holds the funds for the full or partial purchase amount, authorized funds will be unavailable and may display as "pending" on your credit card's online statement. If your order contains multiple items, you may see multiple charges on your credit card statement. If your billing address is outside of the United States, your credit card may be charged in the name of a NETGEAR subsidiary or affiliate. Customers in the European Union or China will be billed by Netgear Luxembourg Sarl.

Credit Cards Accepted

NETGEAR accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa cards associated with a billing address within the 50 United States and certain U.S. territories. NETGEAR also accepts MasterCard and Visa cards associated with a billing address within the European Union and China.

Tax Rate

>  US Sales
In accordance with state and local law, your NETGEAR App Marketplace purchases will be taxed using the applicable sales tax or seller's use tax rate for your shipping address. Your final invoice will reflect the final total tax, which includes state and local taxes, as well as any applicable rebates or fees.

>  EU Sales
For sales to consumers in the EU and all Luxembourg customers, VAT is charged by NETGEAR Luxembourg Sarl in accordance with the laws governing member states. Accordingly, the total amount invoiced will be inclusive of VAT. For sales to non-Luxembourg EU business customers who provide a valid EU VAT number prior to purchase, VAT will not be assessed. If your VAT number cannot be validated, VAT will be charged consistent with a consumer purchase.

>  China Sales
For sales to customers located in China, the price charged by NETGEAR Luxembourg Sarl is inclusive of all applicable taxes.
