NETGEAR BECOMES ONLY NETWORKING VENDOR TO OFFER LIFETIME 24/7 TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR BUSINESS PRODUCTS

Next Business Day Shipping coverage also enhanced and simplified to align with industry-leading hardware warranties for ProSAFE, ReadyNAS, and ReadyDATA business-class product lines

SAN JOSE, Calif. — June 9, 2014 — NETGEAR®, Inc. (NASDAQGM: NTGR) (www.netgear.com), a global networking company that delivers innovative products to businesses, consumers, and service providers, has expanded warranty and customer support coverage for many of its business-class products including the ProSAFE line of switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and access points, as well as for business-class ReadyNAS and ReadyDATA storage products. As a result, NETGEAR is now the only networking vendor offering Lifetime Technical Support* available 24 hours a day to its customers.

Additionally, in order to better serve customers quickly and efficiently, the company is now offering Next Business Day Shipping* coverage that aligns with the full length of its hardware warranties on business products. For example, the ProSAFE switching, wireless and firewall products with Lifetime Hardware Warranties will now receive Lifetime Next Business Day Shipping. Business-class ReadyNAS and ReadyDATA storage products that already offer an industry-leading 5-Year Limited Hardware Warranty will now include 5-Year Next Business Day Shipping coverage. This streamlined policy will save time and make things easier for customers and resellers.

Under the new policy, the following NETGEAR ProSAFE business product lines now offer 24x7 Lifetime Technical Support and Lifetime Next Business Day Shipping, an increase from the previous three-year coverage. This new coverage aligns with the existing Lifetime Hardware Warranty:

  • ProSAFE Unmanaged to Fully Managed Switches
  • ProSAFE Wireless Controllers and Access Points
  • ProSAFE Firewalls

NETGEAR is also enhancing the best-in-class warranty policy it already offers for its storage products for businesses. In addition to the new 24x7 Lifetime Technical Support, customers will now enjoy 5-Year Next Business Day Shipping coverage that aligns with the existing 5-Year Limited Hardware Warranty. The following products will receive the enhanced coverage:

  • Business-class ReadyNAS Desktop (RN300/500/700)
  • ReadyNAS Rackmount
  • Business-class ReadyNAS drives
  • ReadyDATA and ReadyDATA Drives
