SAN JOSE, Calif. — June 28, 2016NETGEAR®, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTGR), a leading provider of networking equipment for the home and small businesses, is launching a new DSL modem with ultra-fast VDSL connections for optimum internet performance for HD streaming and online gaming. The new NETGEAR Broadband High-Speed DSL Modem (DM200) provides a simple and cost-effective way to upgrade your existing equipment to support the fastest VDSL/VDSL2 Internet as well as legacy ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ connections.


Internet Service Providers (ISPs) worldwide are upgrading current ADSL infrastructure to VDSL to meet increasing requirements from today’s connected customer for faster internet speeds. DM200 high speed ADSL/VDSL modem meets these requirements with support for VDSL/VDSL2 and is backward compatible to ADSL/ADSL2+. Customers can now upgrade their modem to DM200 to support existing and future DSL Internet service tiers.
