Sprint’s First Router to Bring Sprint Spark to Business Customers: NETGEAR LTE Gateway 6100D

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., and SAN JOSE, Calif. – Feb. 21, 2014 – Are you looking for the perfect solution to back up primary Internet service or to replace primary Internet service in your office or at home?


Today, Sprint (NYSE:S) and NETGEAR® Inc. (NASDAQGM: NTGR) announced the Feb. 21 availability of the NETGEAR® LTE Gateway 6100D, a fixed wireless router designed to bring high data bandwidth and 24/7 connectivity to fit any business or consumer need. For the first time, Sprint and NETGEAR have combined LTE wireless broadband with 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet to deliver easy-to-install wireless connectivity and reliable broadband in a single compact solution.


The NETGEAR LTE Gateway 6100D (LG6100D) is equipped with an embedded 3G/4G LTE modem to take full advantage of the Sprint Spark enhanced LTE network and is perfect for business customers. The new Sprint Spark network is poised to reinvent the modern workplace and enable mobile employees to be more efficient and productive than ever. Customers can expect to see:


• Stronger in-building signals for more efficient work in office

• Unprecedented data speeds for faster file transfer and enhanced streaming

• Improved call quality, clarity and lag-free video chats

• 50-60 Megabits per second (Mbps) peak speeds with increasing speed potential over time


The NETGEAR LTE Gateway 6100D will be available for $199.99 (excluding taxes) and can be purchased through www.sprint.com, Sprint retail stores, 1-800-SPRINT1 and Sprint Business Sales. Sprint wireless router plans start as low as $14.99 for 100MB of combined 3G/4G data while on the Sprint network. Customers can also choose from additional plans as large as 30GB of combined 3G/4G data for $109.99 excluding taxes and fees.
