What is TAA compliant?
Anyone bidding on US federal projects knows that products must be “TAA compliant” to qualify. Compliance with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA) is required to sell to the US government and related entities, including through GSA Schedules. Products must be made or “substantially transformed” in the US or in a country designated under the TAA.
That applies to every switch in a government network, from the core of an agency campus to the access switches powering WiFi access points, cameras and AV endpoints.
TAA compliant managed switches
The M4250 and M4350 series cover a wide range of government network needs: Gigabit and Multi-Gig PoE access for offices and campuses, 10G, 25G and 100G aggregation and core, and AV over IP for meeting rooms, training facilities and command centers. The models below are available as TAA-compliant SKUs.

TAA designated countries include
- World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement Countries (e.g. Australia, Germany, South Korea, Japan)
- Free Trade Agreement Countries (Mexico, Canada, Singapore)
- Least Developed Countries (Afghanistan, Cambodia, Samoa, Yemen, etc.)
- Caribbean Basin Countries (Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Curaçao).
If a product originates from a designated country, it is considered TAA compliant.
