Denver, CO. — September 15, 2026 — NETGEAR®, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTGR), a global leader in intelligent networking solutions, today announced that it will showcase a unified approach to campus networking and security at  EDUCAUSE, held September 29 – October 2 in Denver. NETGEAR Insight brings cloud management, managed switching, WiFi and  security together, helping higher education IT teams operate distributed campus networks with greater visibility and fewer management tools.

“Colleges and universities often have relatively small networking teams supporting residence halls, classrooms, labs, libraries, administrative offices, athletics facilities and satellite locations,” said Rochelle Clark, Senior Product Marketing Manager at NETGEAR Enterprise. “Insight lets those teams manage switches, access points and security policies from one dashboard, so they can support more infrastructure despite having lean teams.”

As institutions adopt  AI applications, cloud services, and more connected devices, campus networks are becoming increasingly distributed and complex, often without additional staff or specialized expertise. Insight gives IT teams one operational view across the campus, replacing device-by-device administration with centralized management and troubleshooting.

One view across the connected campus

NETGEAR Insight reduces the operational burden with centralized management, automation and proactive alerts. IT staff can push configuration changes to multiple devices at once, monitor network health remotely, schedule routine updates and automate otherwise manual tasks.

NETGEAR Insight also uses AI-defined networking, now in beta, letting IT staff describe what they need in natural language and have Insight configure the hardware accordingly. That removes a layer of manual, device-by-device configuration work.

The goal is a campus network that becomes easier to operate as it expands, giving institutions the flexibility to adopt new technologies without continually adding management overhead.

Unified security from device to edge

As the number and variety of connected devices grows, campus IT teams need a straightforward way to see what’s connected and control how each user and device reaches the network.

NETGEAR Insight combines network and security management into a single platform. Network segmentation, guest isolation, role-based access controls, VPN management and anomaly alerts let IT teams apply consistent policies, separate users and devices, and respond faster when something looks wrong.

The NETGEAR PR60X Dual WAN Security Gateway adds threat protection at the network edge. Together, Insight and the PR60X give campus IT teams a single way to manage connectivity and security, enforce policies and respond to issues without adding another console.

More capacity without more complexity

At EDUCAUSE, NETGEAR is also showing its M4250 series managed switches and WBE700 and WBE700Y WiFi 7 access points, which give campus IT teams more capacity for classrooms, labs, AV systems and dense wireless areas. M4250 switches provide the PoE++ power those environments need, and the WBE700 and WBE700Y add capacity and help reduce latency as wireless demand grows.

IT teams manage all of it through NETGEAR Insight alongside the rest of the network, so they don’t need a separate tool for every device.
