The new center builds on our recent acquisition of VAAG Systems, a Chennai-based cloud software company known for its expertise in AI-driven network troubleshooting. By welcoming their team and valuable IP into NETGEAR, we’re expanding our capabilities and scaling the development of intuitive, high-performance solutions designed to address the real challenges facing businesses today and beyond.
As business networks become more sophisticated, many are looking for smart solutions that can scale with them – without an entire IT department to manage it. By deepening our R&D investments and bringing in top engineering talent with experience at companies like Qualcomm, HP, Cisco, and Maxlinear, we’re building on our proven expertise and innovation, while doubling down on delivering network experiences that are both reliable and ready for what’s next.

Sudarsan Vasudevan, former CEO of VAAG Systems, joins NETGEAR as VP of Software and will lead operations in India. Under his leadership, we plan to grow the team by more than 100 engineers over the next 12 to 18 months. This expansion directly supports the evolution of NETGEAR’s business solutions, enabling us to deliver solutions that empower small and medium enterprises to connect with confidence.
