Matrix switching
The partnership between Aurora Multimedia and NETGEAR AV transforms complex AV distribution challenges into simple, scalable solutions. By combining Aurora’s IPBaseT® technology with NETGEAR’s proven M4250 and M4350 AV line switches, integrators can deploy enterprise-grade matrix switching with plug-and-play installation.
This collaboration eliminates traditional complexity of large-scale AV deployments, enabling seamless matrix switching capabilities up to 255×255 with 4K60 4:4:4 performance while consuming as little as 3 watts per device.
Zero-Configuration Deployment
Aurora Multimedia’s IPBaseT® technology combines AV over IP scalability with HDBaseT simplicity, but the partnership with NETGEAR makes deployment effortless. NETGEAR’s M4250 and M4350 AV line switches have been specifically certified to support IPBaseT® firmware, creating an optimal foundation that requires zero manual configuration.
Each IPBaseT® device can be configured as either a transmitter or receiver and addressed from 0 to 255, enabling flexible point-to-point connections, distribution amplification, or full matrix switching through simple multicast or RS-232 commands. With NETGEAR’s pre-validated infrastructure, system designers can create scalable solutions that adapt to changing requirements while maintaining plug-and-play operation that reduces deployment time from hours to minutes.
Enterprise Scale Made Simple
The partnership addresses the fundamental challenge facing AV integrators: delivering enterprise-scale performance without enterprise-level complexity. The IBT Series, featuring both the IBT-1-BX box unit and IBT-1-WP1 wall plate unit, works seamlessly with NETGEAR’s intelligent AV systems backbone to provide enhanced flexibility and scalability while reducing cabling costs and improving maintenance efficiency.
The combination delivers zero frame latency performance with the reliability integrators need and the simplicity end-users demand, representing a strategic alignment that eliminates traditional deployment barriers while maintaining capability without sacrificing simplicity.
