New M4350 switches simplify AV network deployments for Pro AV and broadcast applications
June 4, 2025 – SAN JOSE, Calif. – NETGEAR®, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTGR), a global leader in intelligent networking solutions designed to power extraordinary experiences partnering with approximately 450 manufacturers, is expanding its M4350 managed switch portfolio with four new models. These new products, designed specifically for Pro AV and broadcast applications, will be revealed at InfoComm 2025 booth 4401, taking place June 11-13 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.
Expanded M4350 Portfolio for Pro AV and Broadcast
The four new M4350 switches will address specific needs within the Pro AV market, particularly for live event and broadcast applications. All four models feature advanced capabilities for any AV over IP installation:
· Multi-color LED Port Identification: A novel feature that displays user-selected colors physically on each port, matching colors assigned in the NETGEAR AV OS™. This innovation allows technicians to easily identify which cables should be connected to specific ports by finding the corresponding LED color. This significantly simplifies deployment, reducing setup time, and decreasing the possibility for error.
· Enhanced SMPTE ST 2110 Support: All new models include built-in grandmaster clock and boundary clock functionality, critical for SMPTE ST 2110 broadcast applications while maintaining transparent clock capabilities across the entire M4350 and M4250 switch lines. As a result, the new switches can serve as the primary timing source for a broadcast network.
· Secure Power Connection: A new mechanism to secure power cables to the chassis, preventing accidental disconnections during critical live events.
· TAA Compliancy: The new models all comply with the strict government policy regarding the Trade Agreement Act to ensure products originate from approved countries.
“These new additions to our M4350 line demonstrate NETGEAR AV’s ongoing commitment to addressing the specific needs of Pro AV and broadcast professionals,” says Laurent Masia, Senior Director of Product Line Management for Managed Switches at NETGEAR. “The enhanced SMPTE ST 2110 support and innovative features like multi-
color LED port identification make these switches ideal for demanding applications where reliability and ease of deployment are essential.”
