The main router connects to the internet.<\/strong> The router is connected to your modem or Internet Gateway and serves as the center of the mesh network.<\/p>\n 2. Satellites extend the network.<\/strong> Satellites or nodes are installed in other parts of your home, for example, upstairs, at the other end of the house, and close to your home office. They talk to the router and to each other in order to extend the signal from the WiFi router.<\/p>\n 3. Devices stay on one network as you move.<\/strong> The name of your network remains the same for your phone, laptop or tablet regardless of your location in the house.
