A listener connects to the WiFi, scans a QR code or opens a link in a browser, and the audio plays: no app to download, no dedicated receiver to hand out, no separate internet connection required. Because the audio never leaves the local network, it stays reliable even when hundreds of people compete for bandwidth. Venues use it for live commentary and translation, for audio on digital signage that would otherwise run silent, and increasingly as a substitute for aging assistive listening systems such as induction loops and infrared receivers.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n        <div id=\"topic2\" class=\"skip-item\">\n                        <h2>Why the partnership makes sense<\/h2>\n                <p>DVOX doesn&#8217;t sell switches or access points, and NETGEAR Enterprise doesn&#8217;t stream audio. DVOX runs on top of the wireless network a venue has already installed, allowing stadiums, convention centers, campuses, and houses of worship to add live audio without installing a separate network or introducing another set of devices to manage. NETGEAR Enterprise provides the reliable network foundation, while DVOX uses that infrastructure to deliver audio directly to listeners\u2019 phones.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe network is already there to get people connected. That&#8217;s really the whole partnership in one sentence\u201d, explains Sebastien Boulanger, President at DVOX.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n        <div id=\"topic3\" class=\"skip-item\">\n                        <h2>Proven in the field<\/h2>\n                <p>Earlier this year, NETGEAR AV put that argument to the test on its own show floor booth, using a PR60X router and a WBE718 access point to run the network and DVOX to carry the audio. The team streamed six simultaneous audio feeds, including real-time translation and multiple language streams, directly to attendees&#8217; phones during live training sessions. Total setup time was two hours. Over four days, 312 people connected in a wireless environment as saturated as any in the industry, and none of them lost the signal.
