Les signaux audiovisuels sont transmis sous forme de trafic de donn\u00e9es sur des r\u00e9seaux standards, souvent via des connexions en fibre optique utilisant des modules optiques comme les SFP, SFP+, SFP28, QSFP et QSFP28.<\/em><br data-start=\"521\" data-end=\"524\" \/><em>Mais que deviennent ces modules apr\u00e8s plusieurs ann\u00e9es d&#8217;utilisation intensive ?<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"606\" data-end=\"999\">Dans plusieurs grands th\u00e9\u00e2tres o\u00f9 nos <em data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"654\">switches<\/em> AV fonctionnent depuis 6 \u00e0 7 ans, nous avons r\u00e9cemment constat\u00e9 des d\u00e9faillances sur les liaisons en fibre optique. Pas de ruptures franches de c\u00e2bles, mais plut\u00f4t des modules perdant en puissance optique, des liens instables (<em data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"897\">link flapping<\/em>) et des messages d\u2019erreur sans cause apparente.<br data-start=\"945\" data-end=\"948\" \/>Cela m\u2019a amen\u00e9 \u00e0 me poser une question importante :<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les modules fibre optique s\u2019usent-ils plus vite dans les r\u00e9seaux AV over IP que dans les environnements IT traditionnels ?<\/strong><\/p>\n    <\/div>\n        <div id=\"topic2\" class=\"skip-item\">\n                        <h2>AV over IP vs. R\u00e9seaux IT traditionnels<\/h2>\n                <p>Dans une infrastructure AV over IP, d&#8217;\u00e9normes volumes de donn\u00e9es circulent en continu sur le r\u00e9seau. Pensez \u00e0 des dizaines de flux vid\u00e9o HD ou 4K simultan\u00e9s, des cam\u00e9ras en direct, ou encore de l\u2019audio multicanal. Les switches et les transceivers fonctionnent souvent \u00e0 (ou pr\u00e8s de) pleine capacit\u00e9 24h\/24.<br \/>\nC\u2019est un tout autre monde compar\u00e9 aux r\u00e9seaux IT classiques, o\u00f9 la charge est variable et conna\u00eet des p\u00e9riodes de repos pendant les heures creuses.<\/p>\n<p>Par exemple, dans un r\u00e9seau bureautique, un lien 10G peut n\u2019\u00eatre utilis\u00e9 qu\u2019occasionnellement pour des sauvegardes ou des transferts de fichiers.<br \/>\nDans un environnement AV, ce m\u00eame lien pourrait transporter un flux vid\u00e9o 4K non compress\u00e9 en continu. Le transceiver fonctionne alors sans interruption, g\u00e9n\u00e9rant davantage de chaleur et de stress pour ses composants.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n        <div id=\"topic3\" class=\"skip-item\">\n                        <h2>La chaleur : un ennemi silencieux<\/h2>\n                <p data-start=\"2050\" data-end=\"2340\">La chaleur est un facteur cl\u00e9 d\u2019usure. Les modules qui fonctionnent en permanence \u00e0 haute vitesse deviennent plus chauds que ceux qui ne sont actifs que ponctuellement.<br data-start=\"2218\" data-end=\"2221\" \/>Et comme on le sait en \u00e9lectronique : chaque augmentation de 10\u00b0C peut diviser par deux la dur\u00e9e de vie d\u2019un composant.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2342\" data-end=\"2655\">Dans des baies AV mal ventil\u00e9es, cet effet peut \u00eatre encore plus marqu\u00e9.<br data-start=\"2414\" data-end=\"2417\" \/>Par exemple : un module SFP+ 10G dans une salle de spectacle transportant de la vid\u00e9o 4K en direct jour et nuit montrera des signes d\u2019usure bien plus rapidement que le m\u00eame module dans un environnement de bureau utilis\u00e9 occasionnellement.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n        <div id=\"topic4\" class=\"skip-item\">\n                        <h2>Moins de marge d\u2019erreur \u00e0 haute vitesse<\/h2>\n                <p data-start=\"2707\" data-end=\"3027\">Les r\u00e9seaux AV over IP fonctionnent souvent aux limites de ce qui est techniquement faisable. Un lien 10G pouss\u00e9 au maximum pour la vid\u00e9o laisse peu de place \u00e0 l\u2019erreur.<br data-start=\"2876\" data-end=\"2879\" \/>M\u00eame une l\u00e9g\u00e8re d\u00e9gradation du module des conditions id\u00e9ales.<br data-start=\"3294\" data-end=\"3297\" \/>Pensez \u00e0 un switch plac\u00e9 derri\u00e8re un mur LED dans un th\u00e9\u00e2tre, expos\u00e9 \u00e0 des projecteurs chauffants, de la poussi\u00e8re, et des temp\u00e9ratures instables.<br data-start=\"3445\" data-end=\"3448\" \/>Ce genre d\u2019environnement acc\u00e9l\u00e8re l\u2019usure des modules fibre.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3510\" data-end=\"3639\">\u00c0 l\u2019inverse, les data centers offrent des temp\u00e9ratures stables et un air filtr\u00e9 \u2014 un climat bien plus favorable aux
