NETGEAR’s 85 Mbps Powerline 4-port Ethernet Adapter Kit (XE104G) is a convenient solution for extending your home network by using standard electrical outlets. This kit delivers the devices you need to set up an Internet connection in any room without running new wires. Simply plug one XE103 into your router and the XE104 into as many as four Ethernet-ready devices. With no software to install, set up is plug-and-play. ² XE104 is compatible with NETGEAR’s XEPS103, XE103, XE102 and WGXB102 products. XE104 is not compatible nor interoperable with NETGEAR’s HDX101, however it may coexist on the same network.
Outlets must be electrically connected in order for Powerline devices to provide a network connection between them.
