Wireless Engineer
Position: Sr. Principal Wireless Engineer
Location: Santa Clara, CA.

Job Duties:
- Lead the Radio Frequency & Wireless development activity for Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) products with focus on performance, cost, time to market and budget.
- Manage the development of WLAN products with third party suppliers with emphasis on Radio-Frequency (RF) and physical layer.
- Manage and maintain a RF laboratory targeting the design & performance characterization of various WLAN products.
- Review RF & Intermediate Frequency electronic designs as needed. Develop characterization and production testing procedures for RF/Wireless sub-systems of WLAN products.
- Work to improve the Bill of Material, BOM, for the electronic components in terms of cost and performance.
- Perform and manage product performance testing & validation in residential house or small office environment. Establish measurement protocol, survey testing, analyze & present data to non-technical pears.
- Recommend product improvements and corrective actions when applicable.
- Position requires extensive vendor and overseas design, testing and manufacturing interface. Requirements: MSEE plus six (6) years experience in wireless communication industry design and project management.
