Position: Senior Strategic Buyer
Senior Strategic Buyer Responsibility
- Perform (OEM/ODM) supplier management
- Coordinate activities involved with procuring networking products, negotiate with suppliers to draw up procurement contracts, and analyze price proposals, financial report and other data to determine reasonableness of prices.
- Comply and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying networking products and to establish price objectives.
- Maintain computerized procurement records, such as items purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance.
- Maintain Asia Pacific vender relationship to ensure on-time delivery, quality and cost objectives.
- Work with engineers to establish performance criteria and specifications
- Investigate potential suppliers and recommend those most desirable
- Interview supplier representatives regarding specifications, costs, inspection, and similar problems relating to products.
- Arrange and participate in conferences between suppliers and engineers to facilitate product inspection, substitution, standardization, rework, salvage, utilization, and economical procurement of networking products.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong written/verbal communication
- More than 5 years related working experience
- Ability to work independently and results oriented.
- Team player with strong inter personal communication
- Cost sensitive, good concept on supplier strategy and management
